Correct Your Acid / Alkaline Balance with the Water You Drink: What the Experts Say

Updated: Aug 16, 2023

Recently, there has been a lot of discussion of the acid/alkaline imbalance in health circles. Let's try to make clear how specialists suggest we address this imbalance.

The problem

The ideal pH for your body is one that is neither too acidic nor too alkaline. Sadly, almost all of us have grown acidic as a result of our diets, beverages, and stress—both psychological and caused by pollution. In our bodies, acids can accumulate and throw our systems out of equilibrium.

The effects

"Acid wastes build up in the body in the form of cholesterol, gallstones, kidney stones, arterial plaque, urates, phosphates, and sulfates," claims Dr. Stefan Kuprowsky. Premature aging and the start of chronic disease are directly caused by these acidic waste products.

When this happens, the body will lower the pH to its ideal level by removing minerals like potassium, calcium, and magnesium from the bones and organs. Additionally, coping with too much acid may wear down your immune system. Then, rather than releasing the acids into the bloodstream, your body stores acidic wastes in "hiding places" like muscles, bones, and so forth.

As Dr.Robert Atkins, the well-known author, health and diet expert, notes: "Just about every condition I can think of, from arthritis to diabetes to cancer, is associated with acidity."

"The countless names of illnesses do not really matter. What does matter is that they all come from the same root cause...too much tissue acid waste in the body!" Theodore A. Baroody, ND, Ph.D.

What can be done?

Numerous studies show that you can keep your blood's pH regulated and assist counteract acid buildup in the blood by doing things like:

  • Exercise

  • Avoiding highly acid-forming food and drink

  • Drinking the right water

What is the "right" water? According to international studies, those who have a low or no history of diseases like cancer tend to consume higher pH (alkaline) waters. It was discovered that they had been consuming water with a pH of 9.0 to 10.0 after all potential risk factors had been taken into account and taken into account."Dr. Leonard Horowitz in 'Aids and Ebola'"

The benefits of consuming alkaline ionized water were first discovered in Japan, where researchers discovered that people who drank water from specific swift-moving rocky mountain streams had exceptionally good health. It came out that this naturally occurring water was electrically charged, alkaline, and had a unique structure. "Prostate Health in 90 Days" by Larry Clapp, Ph.D.

A water ionizer, a little kitchen equipment that has been around for a while in Japan and Korea, is used to create alkaline water at home. Health experts have had more opportunities to assess the effects of water ionizers on patients as they have grown in popularity in North America.

According to Sue Pollock, N.D., drinking alkaline water will "assist the body in becoming more alkaline."

"I think that water that has been treated with a water ionizer to make it alkaline (reduced) and purified is the best water." Stefan Kuprowsky, D.O.

Ionized water, in my opinion, will alter how everyone involved in health care and the general public view their health in the years to come. Dr. T. Baroody from the movie "Alkalize or Die."

Why not simply alter your diet?

The risk is that we can forget crucial meals, says Sang Whang, researcher and author of "Reverse Aging":

"Alkaline water is the best type of water since the waste materials we are trying to release are acidic...I advise people to consume the things they prefer without going overboard or excluding any particular items. Eat in moderation while adhering to the "balanced diet" approach advocated by expert dieticians, and let alkaline water handle the task of eliminating acidic wastes.
